Capstone Portfolio Journal - Module ten Reflections:
"It always seems impossible until it is done."

This will be my final blog entry as the rest of the modules 11 and 12 are more times for us to clean up on previous assignments before our portfolio is graded.
I am extending the dates to include my experience of going through my portfolio showcase! I showed my website to 3 other colleagues and had questions facilitated by Professor Koehler over Zoom. I thought this was such a helpful and affirming experience. When it came down to my turn to show my website, I was pleasantly surprised and honored that many of my peers really had no constructive suggestions for me and thought my website was fairly complete. I had felt that leading up to my showcase time that I had incorporated most of the "bigger" feedbacks. My OCD for the aesthetic details each week ended up mostly paying off in the end!
I chose the quote for this post because I feel like it captures my feelings of reaching this moment. It always seems impossible until it is done. If someone had told me prior to Summer 2018 that I would be going to get my Masters and be learning what I know now, I would have thought the task both daunting and intimidating. Yet here I am checking in on my last post for the last class 3 years later and in just over a month I'll get to go physically to Michigan State University to graduate in person! I'm so excited and thankful for all of the faculty, staff and classmates I've met in my school journey that have contributed to my program.
To those who are reading this and wondering if it was all worth it - I highly encourage you to read my synthesis essay because the short answer is a confident 100% yes.
